Volume 4 Saint Denis
Book Fifth The End of Which Does Not Resemble the Beginning
Chapter IV A Heart Beneath a Stone

Try to love souls, you will find them again.

I encountered in the street, a very poor young man who was in love. His hat was old, his coat was worn, his elbows were in holes; water trickled through his shoes, and the stars through his soul.

Does this drawing and piece fall in the Robust category then:)?with the galaxy bursting into the window and the soul shining through? Always fascinated by the translations like Li and Fu lei, yet these days on returned reading, finding the liberty they took in translating is quite interesting.. such as in this passage, at least in English there is not any "suffering by love", some nitpicking...but, nice drawing and accompanying text

... yes, sort of ... but when I think it again, cynic seems to be the only "robust" attitude; anything positive, including grandeur and delicacy, are fragile. I didn't make it clear in the previous post.
